1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what data Algocath LLC ("Algocath", "we", "our", "us") collects, why we collect it, and how we handle it when you use our SaaS platform.

We are designed to collect very limited customer data.

2. Data We Collect

We collect billing/account information provided through Stripe, such as name, email address, billing address, and payment-related metadata made available to us by Stripe.

We collect basic server details needed for product functionality: server IP, server name, and operating system.

3. Data We Do Not Collect by Default

We do not store your script source code on our servers by default.

When using BYO AI provider keys through the Script Manager running on localhost, your API keys are handled locally and are not uploaded to Algocath servers.

4. How We Use Data

We use Stripe-provided account data to manage subscriptions, invoices, payments, and billing support.

We use server information (IP, name, OS) to provide runtime insights, script checks, and platform diagnostics.

We may use limited technical data for security, abuse prevention, and service reliability.

5. Legal Basis (Where Applicable)

Where data protection laws apply, we process personal data for contract performance (providing the service), legitimate interests (security, reliability, fraud prevention), and legal compliance (tax/accounting obligations).

6. Third-Party Processors

Payments and billing are handled by Stripe as an independent payment processor. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy terms.

If you connect third-party AI providers (for example Claude, OpenAI API, or OpenRouter), those providers process requests under their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Data Retention

We retain account and billing records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal/accounting obligations.

We retain server metadata only as long as needed for product functionality, diagnostics, and security.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data.

We only share data with service providers needed to operate the platform (such as Stripe), comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, and to object to certain processing.

To make a privacy request, contact us at [email protected].

11. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we apply appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers.

12. Children's Privacy

Algocath is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post updates on this page and revise the effective date when changes are material.
